Goodyear Auto Service Centers are full-service tire and automotive repair stores wholly owned and operated by the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
I have goodyear tires I purchased here rotated every oil change service. This time I noticed my tires weren’t rotated when I came to pick up my car. Had I not brought it up they wouldn’t have told me. I understand it’s a law that they can’t rotate tires worn to a certain point. I come here specifically because they rotate my tires with the oil change. They called me to upsell me new brake pads mid oil change, but lacked to tell me they would not be rotating my tires. Again it’s not that I couldn’t get my tires rotated, it’s that they had no plan of letting me know that service was not done. That is just unprofessional. I won’t be coming back.
Last time I went they were out of oil… this time the service was supposed to be done in 2 hours, I return in 3 hours and they haven’t started. Nice enough people but bad service
Very dishonest sales methods. I went in for a free tire rotation and was informed that my brakes were very bad and I should "rush" to fix them as they will be unsafe. We'll I didn't hire them to do the work for $1200 instead hired mu mechanic for $400. BUT....they lied.... my brakes were fine and we're never unsafe as they claimed. This is not a trustworthy business...do not trust their diagnostics and be aware of their sales tactics
Over 3 hours for a simple tire change, never called me except to try and sell me new break pads, ignored the online appointment, in short this place is terribly run as nd the eff employees seem apathetic at best. Save your time and money and go to Lloyds
The shop is corrupt and unethical. My wife just went there to have her tires rotated, and they told her she needed new tires. Her car has 13,000 miles on it and it’s brand new. It’s also all wheel drive and apparently doesn’t need to have its tires rotated ever, Which they didn’t tell her, An honest shop here in Aptos told her that. Then they told her she needed an alignment that they could do for $500. They can’t even do the alignment on the car she has because the information is proprietary to the type of car she has. If you have one of these cars you’ll know. Last time she went there they did the same thing, and she bought new tires with a car that had 21,000 miles. We had our neighbor check the tires afterward because he owned a tire shop for 30 years and he said that two of the tires were fine, the back were questionable. This time I knew it was baloney, I’d think twice before going to this shop, or just consider an alternative. Unbelievable audacity.
Got an alignment, along with a lecture on my tires being too old and so on…truck still pulled left leaving the shop. A few months later horrible toe wear on my front tire led me to notice play in my wheel bearing. Fixing it I found the clamp on my tie rod loose, and the camber on that wheel horribly off still (whether this is the cause or the result of the wheel bearing failing is like the chicken or the egg but I didn’t order chicken or eggs I just wanted my truck to drive straight, and if the bearing was chotched bad enough to prevent proper alignment it seems to me they should have noticed and tried to sell me that instead of new tires which would have got the toe worn off of them immediately anyways). I’ve now read other accounts of Goodyear always claiming your alignments off…until you buy the 3 year warranty of course… I’d have had better luck doing my own alignment with a monkey wrench and a tape measure…hell, I’d have had better luck even without the tape measure…even with Bridgestone tires on a pinto Y’all are some fryers, I’m going to Priors
Slow tire leak fixed in less than 30min. The gentleman working, didn't get his name, was so friendly. They informed me that my radiator was leaking and gave me all the options of fixing vs risk of waiting until I got home to Oklahoma with no pressure. I highly recommend this place for your tire needs.
I pulled in on a rainy morning with 1 extremely flat/low tire on my F250 Diesel with a large metal hunk in the front tire. Seeing as it was the closet to my house I pulled in as I wasn’t going to make it very far. I walked in and asked the counter guy “Bob Ingram” if they could patch me up. He said “ no, we have other jobs” Typical corporate mentality. This place is not worth the time. Go to Loyds. They always service a flat tire asap. I know it’s happened numerous times to me. I tried to save me a tow. Don’t waste your time with these guys.
