I sure appreciate the help with fixing my car. The lights came on and I was all the way in Boulder Creek and Tom in service said if I could get down in a hour he could get me into a rental and my car would be looked at on Monday-this was Saturday. So I headed down and got a rental and drove off knowing I could continue my life and get my car in a couple of days all fixed. Thanks for making this experience so great for me. I bought a beautiful Audi S5 there, and the attention and purchase progress was absolutely amazing, the bad thing... Just after 3 days, the check engine came on, I'm a Mechanic, so I checked myself... Random misfire all cylinders, replace spark plugs, got better but still misfiring... Replace all coils, misfires gone (BTW 2 rims welded, 1 bend, 3 of 4 bad)As a Mechanic I was expecting not to put more money in the car until regular service intervals, and obviously a better shape used car coming from a reputable dealership, attention and purchase process was good... Car condition... not at all

Update: After Aaron the manager reached out, we met and he was able to clear up some confusion and we worked together towards a solution. I appreciate his time in this matter and believe he cares about his customers. I purchased a used 2005 outback from Santa Cruz Subaru. The dealer had recently done the head gaskets and the car fax looked good and I was assured a pre purchase inspection was done to make sure the car was in top shape, so I left with it. I arrived home and could smell oil very strongly and upon getting under the car, there was oil leaking from the timing cover, which would have been removed to replace the head gaskets. It took it back the next morning and David from the service department took it in an said they would fix it as it was the timing cover. I get the car back a week later and the charging light, abs light, and brake light come on the dash on the way home. I take it back and David has the service tech look it over and they say its just a wet crank sensor. I take it to work the next week and have one day where it is fine, then ass I am on 17 in the rain the lights come back on and the spedometer freaks out and goes from 0 to 60 to 40 and the car gets jerky. I limp it home, take it in the next day and Thomas takes it over, I specifically asked the alternator to be tested and every time they said it was good. This time they said it was a battery terminal and replaced it, and then tried to charge me 138 dollars, because the sales team, who has not responded to any of my calls keeps saying you bought as is. I push back and they don't charge me, but I am seeing the car they sold me and promised was inspected was not, and they lied. I replaced the alternator and the charge light has not returned, but I have found that the oil smell they tole me was just remnants of the head gasket job, is a different leak they sold the car to me with. I don't need to be hyperbolic, this was a bad experience and it is not how I would have expected to be treated by an actual car dealership, and the lack of any contact from the sales team to talk about any of this speaks for itself.

Service was great! David is experienced, helpful, and friendly. Sergio helped us get our locked keys out of the car quickly and without a problem. Two other employees, a young woman behind the service desk (helped us to get our car in line), and a man with a beard ( got Sergio quickly to help us), were wonderful. The whole time we felt like we were valued customers. Thank you.

I recently brought my Subaru in for service. The person who checked me in, Thomas Foster, showed me a level of professionalism that I have not seen in the service industry for quite some time. Santa Cruz Subaru would do well to promote Thomas. I will continue to do all my cars maintenance work at Santa Cruz Subaru. A breath of fresh air. They even gave me free of charge a loaner car so I could go home during the service.
