It's in beautiful Capitola. I was super impressed, night and day from what my engine looked like. I've gone to other places and they screwed up my engine. This man is actually licensed by California. No one else in the county is licensed at this time to steam clean engines. He was a mechanic so he knows exactly how to do it properly. Also, he has a cool, tasty Mexican restaurant on the property. Very authentic and friendly little oasis to just kick back and eat great food with home-made corn tortillas.
He saved my windows and paint! I had the worst water spots you could imagine. A DA polisher at full speed with Meguiar's compound and hard cutting pads didn't even make a dent. Now my car is looking amazing! The price was also incredibly low and much cheaper than the competitors.
Called and spoke with the owner, set up a time to bring car in for engine steam clean, showed up at 9am (supposed to open then), waited until 9:15am, called left message (no response). Don't make appt's if you're not going to be there. And don't show "Open" on your website if you're not open! Waste of time and energy. *Amending previous post: I had the opportunity to return 1-year later, met the owner, had the engine cleaning service completed (he happens to be a great guy and the only local provider of this type of work). Perhaps he’s trying to run too many businesses at once. But in this area, who can blame him!
It's not as if you have a choice if you want to get your Toyota serviced by Toyota. this a newer Toyota center was finished two or three years ago and they managed to create an amazing wind tunnel for where you drop your car off so the sooner you can get out of your car and into the area where you meet with your repair rep, the better
Manuel must be the best auto detailer in town...hands down. I brought my 2007 Acura MDX in for a detail, which has never been treated to anything other than an occasional wash and regular maintenance. I can't believe how Manuel and his staff have transform my vehicle into a thing of beauty! I brought it in because I was thinking of selling it for a new vehicle, but I now realize that my car is now "practically new" (other than the 76k miles). Not only is Manuel affordable, but he is a genuinely nice man with a passion for his work. Thanks Auto Spa for helping me make the right decision and hold on to my vehicle for a few more years!
Manuel did an excellent job steam cleaning my vehicle's engine. He was able to reach places that I wouldn't have been able to reach on my own and he has a catch basin so that the effluent can be contained and properly disposed.
