O’Reilly Auto Parts – Where Common Sense Still Exists! If I could shake every employee’s hand and give them a gold medal, I would. These guys actually understand what good customer service is supposed to be—which is rare in the auto parts world, where some places treat returns like you’re trying to return a half-eaten sandwich. So here’s the deal: I needed to return something. It was brand new, in the box, WITH the receipt (cue angelic choir). Normally, due to what it was, they wouldn’t take it back—but they made a one-time exception because, well, it just made sense. If I owned the store, I would’ve made the same exact decision. That’s how you earn lifelong customers. Bravo, O’Reilly’s. But that’s not all. I’ve made several purchases here, and every single time, their service is fast, attentive, and ridiculously helpful. These guys don’t just point at an aisle and send you on your way—they actually help you find what you need like some kind of Auto Parts Sherpas. And get this—they even have tools you can borrow for free if you’re installing something you just bought. FREE TOOLS! I once needed some lube for my bike, and instead of trying to upsell me on some fancy nonsense, they just handed me a little bit to use. Absolute legends. O’Reilly Auto Parts Santa Cruz: 6 out of 5 stars. If I ever open my own auto shop, I’m poaching their whole staff.

My oil light came on while on Hwy , I exited the hwy and looked for the nearest auto parts store and I drove 2 miles to get the oil addressed. Miguel helped me out, was very nice and attentive. Miguel was even nice enough to put the oil and check to see if one quart was enough. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Thank you Miguel for you great customer service.

These folks were nice. Showed up with a dead battery...was shown the choices and also given what was the most cost effective option. Put the core charge on the same tag since I was swapping them out in the drive. Was told by another client that if I needed one they would have lent me a 10mm wrench. When I was done they let me go to their back room to use their bathroom and wash up with the good hand cleaner. Helpful staff!

Rude staff. Rude female. I came in asked where angle grinder discs if they had them. She didn't even look up from her phone. Let alone walk me over to them. I asked another employee on the isle she directed me to and he was standing in front of them with another customer. Then I hear her say isle four. Then when I called her out she tried to talk to me like I was dumb because I didn't see them. Absolutely rude. I'ma go to AutoZone they are more respectful. Rude woman il not come back here!!

I ordered a rear tail light, but I provided the wrong year of the car, obviously I got the wrong one bcs of my fault. They allowed me to returned it and again ordered for me the right one. There's a girl who also helped me to find some others parts was looking for. I want to thanks to all the kind, helpful and friendly staff working here

Kind of a dump to be honest and typically waiting in long lines to buy one item. Up until recently they had massive out of stock issues but seemed to have restored their inventory. I really only go there for wipers or maybe a car cleaning product. I don't feel getting parts there is the best because even if the employee is experienced with parts they seem disheveled or despondent.

FRIENDLY & EXTREMELY HELPFUL! My wife & I are traveling & needed do replace our wiper blades. We saw the good reviews at this nearby O'Reilly so went in with high expectations. Luis & Augustine far exceeded our high expectations. They came outside and helped us put on our very complicated blades. We were both blown away by their kindness, helpfulness, knowledge & professionalism.
