Scotty's Automotive in Campbell

A few weeks ago my wife and I were on the way to breakfast and we realized that we were behind on our oil change. We had never been to Scotty's, but we have heard many good things about the shop. We called the shop and we were told they were booked for a couple of weeks, but if we came in right away they could get us in and out. We dropped what we were doing and we headed over there. It was amazing service and the team was so nice and helpful. When we got there Dave recommended a couple of breakfast places since we were already on the way to breakfast. The oil change was done a few minutes after we got back from breakfast. From the beginning to the end: the service, professionalism and price were the best that I could have asked for in any shop. Dave and team thank you so much for the great experience.

This place is amazing! The friendliest and most service- oriented place I have ever been to. I stopped in last minute due to my tire pressure alert light staying on even though I put pressure in the tires yesterday at a gas station. They used special tools diagnostically, adjusted the pressure, and then used a special tool to remove the “alert” message on the dashboard. All without even charging me. I will definitely be coming back!

I'm very happy to have found Scotty's Automotive! It's almost as much of an achievement as finding the holy grail of a good PCP. The team is professional and communicative. They provide excellent service and a quick turnaround. And, they're friendly folks. Moreover, the pricing is fair. As another reviewer stated, it's delightful to "trust an auto shop without needing to worry if I'm being overcharged." Finally, as a woman, it's refreshing to find a mechanic who doesn't talk down at me. Huge win! Thanks Dave & team!

Scotty's automotive is by far the best auto shop I've been to. I love the fact that it's a local business and you can easily tell by the way they actually care about their customers. I came in with multiple engine/electrical/steering issues and Dave was able to get them all fixed. I also brought my car to this shop after a car accident and they got me all the parts I needed. Their prices have been much cheaper than others & their speed is faster as well. It's so nice to be able to trust an auto shop without needing to worry if I was being overcharged. 5/5 stars!

They saved my vacation! About a month ago my wife and I were on a road trip from SE Arizona to CA to drive the Pacific Coast Highway. While driving to San Francisco I notice a grinding noise and feel coming from the right front wheel. I was pretty sure it was a wheel bearing but wanted to get it checked and repaired. I thought to myself...chances of finding anyone to even look at it, never mind fix it, were slim to none. I Googled repair shops in the San Hose area and found Scotty's Automotive. Their group picture and shop were very presentable and professional looking so I decided to start with them...I had three places picked out. Upon arrival I was greeted by Patrick who listened to my tale of woe. He said let's go for a test ride and check it out. We came back he put it up on the lift, pulled the wheel and confirmed the damaged bearing. He looked at me and said "we're booked solid for two weeks out but I know if I was on a road trip and this happened to me I'd sure want someone to help me out." Patrick checked to see if the part was available then recommended a restaurant for breakfast and told us he have us back on the road in a few hours! Can't thank Patrick and Scotty's Automotive enough for saving the rest of our trip. There are still good Samaritans around and some of them are at Scotty's Automotive! Thanks again Patrick!!!!!!!

Scotty's Automotive is a special repair shop. They are what one would want in a shop, extremely knowledgeable, fair, honest, and efficient. I've brought in multiple cars over the years here and keep coming back. They honestly should raise their rates more with this crazy inflation and yet they are still affordable. I've brought in a car for repairs and I've been told that some repairs just aren't cost effective, and would be wasting my money, which I can't say other shops would do, turning down business like that. I've never been fooled by them, and Dave, the owner, somehow knows his customers even though I may only come by once a year or so. If you're looking for a honest mechanic who won't overcharge you and will do good work, this is it.

Our go to place for car check ups, maintenance and general repairs when we lived in San Jose. A no nonsense place who provide excellent service. For example we had a tire replaced, picked up the car and needed to do some errands. When driving on the highway I got a flat tire. Had it replaced with the spare. Called Scotty’s and they immediately asked me to come back and recheck. They actually stayed open a little longer to make sure that they hadn’t missed something when they changed the tire earlier that day. It turned out there was a hole in the tire. They fixed it and put it back, all in a matter of minutes AND without a charge! Without say an amazing place!
