These guys are A+. They tell you what’s wrong, what needs to be done, what should be done, and what can wait. Their digital communication is very helpful (they upload photos of what’s broken, what the scanner says, etc) but when you get them on the phone they are happy to explain in further detail if you’re not a “car guy.” No dumb questions, no jargon answers. I’ll pay the little extra in labor rate for their honesty and professionalism every time.

From the moment I brought my vehicle in, the team was friendly, professional, and very communicative throughout the entire process. I originally came in needing an engine rebuild and a head gasket replacement—serious work—but they handled it with skill and care. What really stood out was how thorough they were. During the repair process, they discovered my camshaft was broken, which I hadn’t even known about. Rather than ignoring it, they brought it to my attention and explained everything clearly so I understood exactly what needed to be done. They didn’t just throw parts in and send me on my way—they took the time to do everything right. The work they did was a lot, but they managed to get it all done in a reasonable amount of time and kept me updated throughout. Since picking up my vehicle, I haven’t had a single problem. I move around a lot for work and anytime I go to a shop, I always feel like I’m being dinged around. But not here. The guys here were honest, helpful & I felt well taken care of. I will definitely be driving out of my way to have my car serviced with Motorpool ! Thanks for all your help!

I usually donr do this but i feel robbed of 300 dollars I Got my vehicle serviced here in April. Decided to get an inspection on my vehicle today to have everything checked and my go to mechanic said that it looks like my transmission needs to be serviced..so I'm debating if these guys even did the job that I paid for because transmission services shouldn't need to be so close. Be careful everyone.

I came to Motorpool two weeks ago because my truck’s check engine light came on right before my multi-state road trip. I was stressed. I needed my truck fixed fast. These guys were terrific. They were able to diagnose and replace my truck’s air intake valve within the day. I just returned from my road trip, and thankfully, I had no issues. Also, the shop is full of snacks, a TV, and a comfy couch to keep you entertained if you have to wait a bit, which is excellent if you have little kids!!

I take all of my vehicles here. Steve is very knowledgeable about cars. He will really help search for custom parts when you bring in a pain in the butt car. The shop will diagnose issues quickly, and give you your options. The service is great, the staff is friendly. I trust him, he tells me how it is. It’s nice to fell that you are in good hands. I would recommend this shop to anyone who just wants a simple oil change to something extensive.

I can't recommend Motorpool Automotive enough!! These guys are hands down the best around. They've been working on my vehicles for more than 5 years now. The fact that I drive down from the Santa Cruz Mountains for service should say it all.
