I have only had 1 run in with this shop as a tow truck driver so far and it was not pleasant. I took a AAA member here because it is the nearest AAA approved auto shop to the members house. The shop discriminated against him because of he did not speak very good English. The person behind the counter said he is refusing the car for that reason.

Great diagnostic and repair shop. I had multiple misfires in cylinder 4 of my 2004 PT Cruiser GT turbo. Two other shops could not find the problem so one of them referred me to Autotrend. They are a very efficient and clean shop. They found and repaired the problem and now my car runs better than it has in a long time. I highly recommend.

If you want your car to drop into a hole of zero communication or action this is your place. Several years went by with nothing happening. Every time I called I got the same variation of waiting on parts/technician is out etc. I went in with an estimate of under a thousand dollars and came out $65,000 lighter in my pocket. The car still does not drive and had to be towed out to go to a competent repair shop. This is not an average car, it is a modified 1971 Cadillac. Yet again, I have to say that the gentlemen at Autotrend are amazing. My rear window mechanism just stopped working and dropped the window down into the door! They were able to replace the motor and get it working perfectly. I love their back and forth communication system with text and email to let you know the progress of your car. This is great when you cannot answer your phone at work. We have been going there for years and they have extended the use of our 2008 Honda Pilot for years! Very honest and attentive. I have said this before and am so happy to say it again- They are the best mechanics we have ever used in the Bay Area!
