First time here and i will keep coming back. Very friendly, trustworthy and easy to work with. Reasonable rates and fast service. One of the most pleasant automotive service experiences I've had.
I liked the friendliness of the staff and we engaged in good conversation. The 21,000 mile service was qick, 1 and 1/2 hours. They explained what maintenance they performed and showed me photos of a small leak in a shock that i can take care of on my next visit, overall i was very satisfied and will be returning agsin when my next service comes up on my mazda 3.
I wanted this place to work… It’s local and convenient to where I live, it’s clean, people are nice, they use text and technology well… Unfortunately they charge 2X what is reasonable. $80 to replace a $15 filter that take about 2 minutes to put in? They tried to charge me $1,100 to replace a radiator on a 20 year old jeep which is a $100 part and maybe 90 minutes. Again, they charge twice as much as they should. If you’re good with that, this is your place, if that makes you feel uncomfortable move along. I’m not sure why they gouge customers like that. I’m a loyal guy, but now I can’t go back here🤷♂️.
As a female who has basic level knowledge of automobile mechanics, I find that Autotronics offers fair and transparent pricing, provides sound reasoning, and documented diagnostics as part of their routine customer service. Over the past 8 years, I've been lucky enough to only have 3 instances of needing a mechanic. They have worked on my 2005 Subaru Outback, 2016 Chevy Traverse and a 2018 Dodge Charger. Every instance included respectful and honest communication, transparent pricing, documented diagnostic results, and reasonable recommendations. They communicate clearly and frequently by phone and text message. They also use a kind of auto mechanic information management system to manage some communications, including capturing approval acceptance, and payments. I personally like this as it makes the process efficient and allows me to receive communication that I can review at my leisure, respond and ask questions after hours, and reference again later. I find this especially helpful in order to loop in my husband at times whenever he has questions. And finally, they have been flexible with me on picking up and dropping off my vehicle after hours by using a secure key drop off vault and messaging system. If you have a reasonable expectation of great service and fair pricing, try giving this place a chance. I have not been disappointed yet.
I took my car in for an oil change, tire rotation, and diagnostics (it had started turning off the engine when I came to a stop - not good!), and these guys were amazing! They were completely transparent throughout the entire process, took the time to educate me on the issues they'd found, and provided such a thorough diagnostics report with pictures so that I could see what the technicians saw. They were able to find and fix the problem quickly and at a reasonable rate. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality and honest auto repair in Cameron Park!
If you like overpriced estimates, and your personal information sold to 3rd parties so you receive junk mail from Sirius, then i highly recommend this place. Also, they gave me a set price to repair timing belt with no other options. Lowest possible - $3,000. My Father said it was a bit high and that we should replace the camshaft/crankshaft position sensors. $200, and it started right up. Thanks Autotronics!
Autotronics is an honest shop. I brought my car in for what I thought was a wheel bearing issue and when their mechanic checked it out he found the inside of the fender was loose and scraping up against the wheel. They cut the part off that was hitting the tire and I was back on the road again. They did a great job!!!
I recently took my 2015 Jeep to Autotronics Automotive Repair for a check engine light issue, and I was extremely impressed with the service I received. The team at Autotronics diagnosed and fixed the problem in a timely manner, keeping me informed of the situation every step of the way. My service coordinator, Hector, was incredibly professional and courteous throughout the process. He took the time to explain the issue and the recommended repairs, ensuring I understood what was happening with my vehicle. I never felt rushed or left in the dark. Autotronics lived up to their reputation for quality work on domestic vehicles. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of automotive repair or maintenance. Their skilled technicians, transparent communication, and efficient service make them the go-to choice for car owners in the area.
