I have only ever taken my Toyota Camry to Toyota since I ve owned it for five years, but I wanted to try something new that didn t break the bank. I saw their reviews on Yelp and gave them a call. Setting up an appointment was easy, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They recommended future services I might need with the cost and the estimated mileage. I might want to consider getting those done. I appreciate the upfront estimates, and I ll be coming back.

I did a pre inspection with them. I received a very thorough report with photos. They also explained each detail when speaking with them taking their time to answer all questions without creating stress as many mechanics can do. Also the price was very fair! Very nice company. Glad I chose them! Might I add, I am, and was 500 miles away and was searching for a pre-inspection blindly. I found them through google, and after speaking to them felt they were the right people to pre-inspect a used car I was interested in purchasing located near their city. I am happy I followed my gut! Great company, very nice people. If I lived near them, they would totally be my mechanic!

I inherited a 98 Ford Mustang from my deceased birth father - I had to pick it up from the Bay Area, about 360 miles from my home in L.A. I was concerned that it wouldnt make the trip back, so I brought it to Keep it New to have them assess the cars condition. For a nominal amount of money, they did a thorough inspection of the car and told me all the issues, plus gave me estimates for everything. The most urgent problem was tires, so when I picked up the car at 4:50, I needed to get it out to a tire place in the neighborhood that would quickly put on a new set of tires for the trip back that night. Ace expedited the transaction so we could make that happen. The other issues, ball joints, AC repair, theft sensors, brakes rotors and pads, 12v battery, etc., could all be handled locally in L.A. Ace topped off the fluids for me gratis. Between Ann and Ace, I felt like I had long time friends taking care of me. I really wish I had a Keep it New service near me in Los Angeles, so I could continue the maintenance for the Mustang and my old Lexus with this company. I truly recommend this garage to anyone who needs a mechanic they can trust. Viva Keep it New!

Had my car for over a week without contacting me despite having my correct phone number. When asked about it, lady had a rude tone. My family members have had good experiences with them, but mine wasnt the best.

They are knowledgeable, professional, honest and friendly people. Their checkup is detailed. Ann gave me all the info about what they inspected, found and showed me pictures on computer. We are going to be taking my Explorer on a road trip to Arizona and I needed an oil change and check up to make sure I wouldn t have any trouble in the heat. They were so nice to work me in and they checked everything so thoroughly! We will be driving with confidence! Wish we knew about them years ago!

One of spaker missed fire, then replaced 4 sparkers and ignition coils, resolved the engine shaking problem.

Customer service has been superb! I had a couple evap codes and instead of charging me for both sensors unnecessarily, they replaced one and said that its possible that one has triggered the other code. The asked me to drive it around to see if the other code pops up. They did a full detailed inspection and didnt push any other repairs down my throat. They are definitely affordable super friendly very professional. I couldnt be any more happier with my experience and definitely plan to bring my vehicles into this shop in the future.

I was referred to Keep It New by another shop because they have a rack here that can service lower cars like a 2014 Corvette. They were friendly and professional, and while they did our oil change, they inspected everything else under the car, and provided us with details on what looked great, what needed attention soon, and included photographs of everything for reference. If you want 5 star service with a great attitude, this is the place.

Easy to work with. Did an outstanding job of inspecting and reporting on a huge number of items concerning the condition of my vehicle even though I only brought it in for an oil and filter change and tire rotation. Treated nicely. Finished the car promptly, went over their report when I picked up the car and emailed a copy to me. Then to top it off they called this morning and apologized because their new estimator made a couple of mistakes on the bill and refunded me $38.00. I was pleased with the service and not surprised by the cost (way under the dealer cost) and then find out they caught their own mistake and sent me back $38. I will use them in the future AND refer people to them.

They were extremely honest with what work needed to be done and what work could be done but wasn t required right away. My car engine stopped on the side of the road. I was able to get it to restart and drive the quarter mile to Keep It New which was already my go-to shop? I did not have an appointment and they were very busy, but they listened to what was going on and let me leave my car. I am very happy with all of the work I have had done at keep it new. From brake jobs to flushes to timing belt replacements or just oil changes. My favorite aspect is their inspection system! Your car is not just in for work it is fully inspected and they have a system in place that allows you to see what has to be changed what will need to be changed and what is good. This allows you to prepare for things and fix things before catastrophe. Best mechanic and Auto Shop in town by far.

Ive never felt as comfortable at a mechanic as I have at keep it new. Any suggested work is provided with a full breakdown of reason and cost. Everything is so transparent and trustworthy! And they have an amazing inspection deal for first time visitors.

Came in for a diagnostic but ended up only needing codes cleared from a battery being replaced. Roger and Sam helped me a lot and didn t need a full diagnostic charge to do so. Definitely bringing my business back when next service is needed.

I was very pleased with the team and the way they took their time to explain what was wrong with my car. They noticed a few other details that need attention in the future but they weren t pushy to try to get me to get the work done. They focused on the primary reason I went in, brakes. It also was nice to not have to pay for the brake check, now I can save the money I would have spent elsewhere and put that into the service my car needs.

I recently drove my Nissan Versa Note from Brentwood to Los Angeles for an event & back and upon touching down in Brentwood it started having issues. Apparently during the drive back on the I-5 my cars heat exhaust cover got too hot and cracked a bit which was causing it to flap and was making a super loud rattling noise that was super embarrassing I drove my car around like that for two days until I couldn t take it anymore, the stares coming from people were unbearable. I searched on Google for local auto body shops that specialized in Nissans and heat exhaust issues and came across Keep it New Auto Service. After filtering out through hundreds of reviews I decided to drop in to see if they could help me (no call ahead or nothing). Upon arrival I asked one of the mechanics at the shop if they had availability to check out my cars issue as it would be required to be lifted to inspect it and he asked me to check in with the front office folks which happened to be the lovely owners. They had their mechanic squeeze me in and check out the issue in a prompt manner while I got added to their computer system in the office. 20 minutes later the mechanic mentioned that he had fixed the issue and that the car was no longer making a rattling noise. He had patched up my exhaust cover with epoxy glue and had added additional screws so it would stay in place. Then I asked the owners how much I owed them for the repair and was floored when they told me nothing it s on the house. After insisting to at least at me tip them, they told me that there was no need for that because this is how they like to treat people. I was so moved by this gesture and expressed that to them. In a world where everyone s trying to make a quick buck from you or rip you off I can t tell you how incredibly refreshing it is to find genuine and kind people like the folks from Keep it New. I will certainly be bringing my car here from now on and will recommend them to everyone who needs their car repaired here in the area. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much for touching my heart with your generosity and thoughtfulness.

Best auto service ever! Ann is the absolute sweetest and genuinely cares about her customers and their vehicles. Prices are very fair and they dont overcharge on labor or parts! Theres also a waiting room if you wanted to wait for your vehicle while being serviced which is really nice. I couldnt recommend them enough

Great customer service but my bad luck had to pay $206 for diagnostics on electrical problem that I thought was not related to the battery . Long story short Walmart installed wrong battery causing intermittent power issues. To replace factory installed battery was quoted over $300 plus $206 diagnostic total over $500 I ended up taking to ford dealer installed battery for only $245 total installed. I would have thought non dealer would have been cheaper than dealer prices .

Well I took my car in last year for the rattle sound. Technician couldn t hear the sound . I was told my car burns a lot of oil so have to check it regularly. Well now the Rattle his back and a Different technician heard the sound and I also tape the sound so they can hear it, but they still can t find what it is, but apparently it s the oil it has sledge on the bottom of the oil pan. Also, they were supposed to fix my blinker which they didn t and now I have to make another appointment which they were gonna call to schedule and they never did. I will still go here.

Initial impression was that they didnt want or need my business because they are the busiest shop in town as the receptionist told me when I asked why the wait for a diagnostic appt was so long. Then I was told that since my car didnt always make the noise I would have to leave it there for a few days. ? When I mentioned this was my only car I was told I could rent a car while they kept it. I dont have the funds to rent car for no reason.. Refused to look at a video I had taken of the noise and the area where it was coming from. Not too helpful. Went to another place with experienced mechanics who looked at my video and was able to then look at the engine around that area, fixed the issue very quickly. Did not even charge me!! They have a customer for life.( Precision Brake and Front End)

Keep It New Auto is the place to go! August 2022, I noticed my gas gauge wasn t not aligning with the mileage I was getting. I had called a few other mechanic shops and the quoted me way over my price range just for a diagnostic. My parents had told me about Keep It New Auto who helped them with their transmission. When I called them, they got my car in the next day and within in 2-3 days I had got my diagnostic about my gas gauge but as well as many other things such as my control arms, my shocks and struts, break pads, radiator hose, spark plugs, etc! I bought my car used and the dealership claimed it was in perfect condition when clearly it was not. I fixed all the major things through them, they are the only mechanic shop I will go to now, they know my car from the inside and out. Ann and Ace are AMAZING! Every time I come in, I feel welcomed and even when I don t understand something about my car, Ann breaks it down. Their mechanics are amazing as well as very professional, proficient, and fast with their work. If I did not have them, I wouldn t know where I d be with my car. They will not let you down.

Fast, reliable, good communication

Brought in my 2017 Toyota Corolla after it was hitting the Mariah Carey high note, I had to drive about 800 miles over the next 2 days and wanted to make sure I wasn t stranded. They took it back and after making a few adjustments, she s happy again! They even changed a reverse light that had gone out and took pictures of everything to show a full inspection! So happy and will only come here from now on, thanks for squeezing me in and making sure I was safe on the road!!

Experience has been good. Went for a general service and they did their job perfectly. They took the pictures of every single thing they inspected, went through them explaining me if I need to keep an eye on it. They are straight forward, welcoming and no gimmicks. Going to stick with them. My only complaint is that it is very hard to get the appointments early might be they are just too busy. I recommend anyone to book an appointment at least a week or two prior

I can now see why an appointment is a must, very busy. My issue was specific to front end vibration which could be quite expensive. I called in to schedule an appointment which was painless. Everyone I spoke to was very pleasant and professional at the same time. The tech advisors are very detail oriented which makes it easier for everyone in the end. I work in aircraft maintenance as well as a former Navy aviation technician so maintenance has been a significant part of my life. In my case, the issue was not my suspension but an issue with my tires and rims which I suspected. The condition of my car was documented and presented to me so I could be aware of its condition and to make informed choices. I will definitely return for my auto maintenance needs.

My overall experience at Keep It New has been very good when it comes to repairing modern cars and trucks. About 5 years ago I purchased a classic muscle car. It needed a few small repairs and a tuneup to make it run correctly. I realized then the technicians didn t have the experience or expertise when it came to older cars. When I picked up the car the motor died as I drove a half block away. The tech jumped the battery and reset the idle which helped. The work took much longer than expected and the amount of money charged was ridiculous. I now take it and my other vehicles to another shop that understands new vehicles but older vehicles as well. Where they take less time to repair or service. That brings the cost down. With that being said, I like the people at Keep It New. But in my experience they can t keep old like it was when it was new.
