Me and my girlfriend walked in and literally all 3 employees, specially the old man with gray hair completely ignored us. It was clearly they did not wanna help us. I had my car keys in my hand. One of them finally looked at me and put his hand out. I handed him my car keys and said I would like the battery replaced, and he just said I know. Awful service.

Bought a Duracell battery for my Harley ( I know ) 3 months later it died. Security alarm drained it & fuse link blew on the battery tender cord. I tried for a week to recharge but wasnt happenin. Took it back to Robert who charged it overnight and bike fired right up! Thanks!

I was beyond pleased with Roberts expertise and customer service. I had gone to another cellphone repair shop and without even checking out my cellphone, stated get a new phone. I was referred to this location from a sales associate at Walmart. Robert took my phone examined it and knew exactly what it needed; a new screen. Robert checked his inventory and replaced the screen within 2 hours and I was set to go.

The staff on the premises helped me verify that the replacement batteries were the correct match and also accepted the old batteries for disposal, saving me the hassle of taking a trip to my local hazardous waste facility.

Very friendly and delivered a battery we needed to replace a faulty battery through curbside pickup very fast, when prompted to go to the store. The only concern I had really was trying to find it initially since its very hidden inside a shopping center, but I was able to locate it and pick up the battery correctly.

I wish one of the options was no stars. I didnt know it but it was the owner who sold me batteries this morning. He had the glucose meter in his hands but he only sold me one battery so I had to go back and get the other battery because the meter needs two batteries to work. And I let the owner know this. He then followed me out to my car and he told me I was banned from his store. As if I would go back. This store store owner is a bully. He followed an old woman out to her car just to tell her that she was banned from his store. I dealt with him a year ago and he was not helpful or friendly then. Maybe hes not happy being a small business owner selling batteries in Brea. But all the other times that Ive been in his store, the other clerks were always friendly, always helpful, and always out going with good customer service. Its too bad this business owner could not follow in the footsteps of his own clerks.

After I made the online purchase and there was an issue, right away Robert made that phone call. He advised me of possible delay and discrepancy and he found the solution. He installed the battery himself on site when I got to their location. Before things were wrapped up, he adjusted invoice for price of battery (since it was different from the one I initially purchased online) and made sure discount was applied due to purchase being made online. I never thought that a battery store would ever make it but boy was I wrong. They have batteries for hearing aids to car batteries (and everything in between). These folks know their stuff but I do have a warning. Those who are allergic or get an upset stomach with cigar smoke, beware. The cigar shop next door aroma floods this store. I dont mind it but some do. You can call the store and ask for the right battery you need and theyll have it ready to go

So, I bought a battery online, and on my way to pick it up, I received a call saying the battery wasnt in stock. Without asking, the gentleman gave me three options, one, I could cancel the order, two, I could choose another battery, or three, they could give me a loner battery, and call me when my battery comes in. I chose #3, and I walk in the store, they hand me the battery, and tell me they will call me when mine i ready. That simple, that quick. Great service! I needed to recycle a fluorescent tube and the guy at Brea location was super nice about it.

If I cold give less I would. These crooks took a battery of mine to charge up and said to call back the next day. I still purchased a new battery from them, that day, as I needed to move the car and if the battery didnt accept a charge, I didnt want to drive back to buy another battery a day later. A day later we spoke and the store told me that the battery is totally dead and didnt accept the charge. They said they would throw a $10 core charge credit back to my credit card. I told them not to do that, I would rather pick up the battery They seemed surprised an asked what was I going to do with a dead battery. I had a strange feeling they were lying to me. Long story short, I brought the battery back home and threw it on my charger and its fully charged.

I asked if the replacement was exact and was told yes, but the fittings were a different size.

Well mannered owner/manager works long long shifts when his people do not show up ... Very clean store but a bit OVERPRICED (very expensive) ... they manage to stay in business (owner/manager has been seen buying a lot a cigarettes in next door cigar smoking lounge/club) ... and the building is a large building with suites to lease/buy so the next door business is legally allowed in California to allow smoking for a club member ... please let me know if you see a smile on smokers next door (the cigar smoking lounge offers cigar bank storage vaults for yearly fee and free TV while members smoke on leather couches all the way to the the back of the suite in building)

It was easy to find the phone battery I needed online . An email came when it was ready for pickup at a nearby store. The clerk installed the battery for me and I was in and out in 5 minutes.

It was reassuring to be able to go to a store and be certain my purchase was exactly the right items: no wait for shipping or potential for shipping of wrong items. The Batteries Plus Bulbs website was impressive, particularly compared to other battery sales websites. The descriptions of products and their applications was clear and precise. I purchased two 12v Duracell batteries and a charger online for my dads GoGo Ultra X cart and picked them up the next day at the Brea, CA store. The batteries were fully charged and the employees know their products. The purchase confirmation and pick-up confirmation emails were timely. I paid more for the Duracell batteries than I would have for most other brands, but I trust they will be a better long term value.

I dont know if it is because my wife and I look young but the employee totally ripped us off. We were kindly greeted with a Hello! How can I help you? To which we responded by we needed new batteries for our key fobs. He asked to see our keys and took our key fobs to the service desk without explaining any pricing or what he would be doing. Did not ask for our consent to replace the battery or tell us what type of battery we wanted/needed. About 5 minutes he goes to the cash register and says its $12 for replacement and installation fees. We were surprised to see such a price because the batteries on the wall advertised $3.57 and because we never asked him to replace our batteries nor install them. My advice: if you go here is to know what you want and ask for it yourself. Dont give them anything unless you know what service is going to be done and for how much.

I needed a replacement backup battery for my home alarm system. I went to Batteries Plus Bulbs and told the salesperson that I needed a replacement backup battery for my home alarm system. He told me that they only carry Duracell batteries, which will work with my system. I bought it and went home, only to find that the battery that I bought had the wrong type of terminals, F2 terminals, when my system has F1 terminals. To ensure that I would have the correct battery with F1 terminals, I bought a Genesis battery online. I also got a 10% discount for buying it online and picking it up at the store. The next day, I was notified by email that my item was ready for pickup at the store so I went there. It turns out that I couldnt buy a Genesis battery online and pick it up in the store. I could only buy a Duracell battery in the store. So, I bought another Duracell battery, but with F1 terminals (which worked perfectly), returned the previously purchased Duracell battery with F2 terminals, and had my online purchase reversed. I didnt get 10% off for store pickup, which was disappointing and borders on false advertising. I wasnt happy that I had to make 2 trips to the store to get the correct battery (about a 20-30min drive each way). The salesman should have asked me what type of terminals I needed. If he knows his stock (which he does), he shouldnt have picked out a battery with F2 terminals for me, since they carried both. Even if I didnt know which type I needed, I may have been able to figure out which type by calling my alarm company. Frustrating experience. In the end, I got what I needed, but with unnecessary extra effort. But, at least they had the battery. As for price, Batteries Plus Bulbs charges $36.99 online and in the store, but the same battery (Genesis battery) is about $20 on Amazon. But at least they have it in the store, and Duracell is a good brand.

I needed a replacement car battery and needed it quick! I work neat this store and had no clue they carried car batteries. I went to the website and entered my car information and it said they had 2 batteries in stock. I bought one and found they also do free installation available. I set the appointment on the website and went to the store. I was promptly helped and in less than 10 minutes the new battery was installed and I was on my way. I have already told coworkers about this place and I highly recommended it.

Great place to get the best service! I have a family owned air conditioning and heating company and my techs unfortunately constantly break their work phones, but this place always gets the job done. I have taken about 5 iphones in for different repairs (screen and battery replacements) over the last two years and they average about an hour depending on the repair and the model. They re always courteous and the issues have always been taken care of with great professionalism. What I like best is their warranty. I used to go to other places that were closer to me for repairs but if I ever ran into issues with the phone after a repair I would be told the warranty period was only 30 days. This place has a 6 month warranty period as long as my techs didn t physically break their screens. Robert is usually the tech that takes care of me and I appreciate his workmanship. Great job, guys!

Easy to order online an old samsung cell phone battery and pick up at store. My phone started to continuously restart with the old battery. Staff was professional and even offered a refund if the problem was a phone issue and not a battery issue.

What Chazz doesnt get is that there is a service fee for battery installation. I went for the same service and they explained to me that if I want to buy the battery myself it would be $4 but I risk breaking my expensive key fob if I try to install it myself. They could install the battery for me and it would come out to $6 each key fob, so I had them do it. I was in and out. It was a lot better than paying Mercedes $25 to have them do it. Great place with great prices, my experience was great.

I usually get batteries in here, service is ok, they just need to be more friendly, that does not cost anything and its the best way to sell and the most important thing in customer service. To the owner, when you get a bad review, you should also answer that review and contact the person, this would give you more credibility with all customers.

The attendant wasnt very personable but this is secondary in relation to my dissatisfaction. I went in for a replacement battery for my Samsung DV150F camera. I asked if I could obtain a battery with higher capacity and the attendant stated that more capacity meant larger size so my request wasnt possible. I was then told that the Duracell battery they wanted to sell me would be in excess of $33.00 which was utterly ridiculous since I had already investigated pricing online for similar (although not Duracell) batteries and just wanted to get my battery immediately rather than wait for free standard shipping or pay extra charges for express shipping. I later found the exact same Duracell battery online for $14.23. I ended up getting two Samsung Brand original factory batteries for $16.00 total ($8.00 each). I also found out that they had 1200 Milliamp Hour (mAh) batteries for sale for my camera. So, not only were the prices excessive at Batteries Plus Bulbs, but the information the attendant stated was completely inaccurate since they DO have higher capacity batteries for my camera which obviously fit just fine. I will never go back to Batteries Plus Bulbs for anything. Update: I called Batteries Plus Bulbs and spoke to Robert to express my dissatisfaction about the pricing and the substandard knowledge of their personnel. Rather than being apologetic, Robert asked about the extent of my knowledge about batteries. Expertise on batteries isnt required when I am comparing apples to apples (the exact same Duracell battery) and the FACT that they DO sell higher capacity batteries for my camera which arent larger as the attendant had indicated. As I stated previously, I will never go back to Batteries Plus Bulbs again.

I was very pleased with the whole experience; their website helped me select the right batteries, they had them all in stock, and I could pick them up without having to wait days for delivery. After finding nothing but knock offs on Amazon for my cell phone battery, the Verizon guy referred me to this store. I found my battery on their website, ordered it late at night, and early the next morning they had it ready for pickup. When I got there they had it charged and put it into my phone to make sure it worked. I will just go here first next time!!
