I have been a customer at 5 Star for years. They are honest and go the extra mile to make high quality repairs for a fair price. They recently installed new tires that i ordered from Tirerack. One wheel lug was frozen, and they had to partner with a master welder to remove it. Only charged me their cost, despite a couple days of lost productivity! I highly recommend Ned and the team at 5 Star!

Request Fahdi, wonderful customer service assisted in scheduling explains everything before working on your vehicle. I have an older Ford Escape 2008. They have assisted me with my oil changes as well as maintenance. Very accountable , very busy all the time. You may have to leave your vehicle overnight. Don t make them rush, great job.

My family is new to 5 Star Auto. After being bounced around from repair shops to transmission shops with well-meaning but ultimately unhelpful people we landed at 5 Star. They quickly diagnosed the issue with my moms old Lincoln. Had it fixed and back home at a very reasonable price. Super nice people too. Fadi patiently explaining things to me. And mechanic Jeff was nice too! 5 Star is now our go-to place for car services.

New tires received and installed quickly

My tire was low on air, it was obvious something was wrong. I had a similar problem awhile ago and I took it to Five Star they had it fixed before I could sit down they put a plug and I was on my way. This time it was a different tire, a small nail puncture and I was about to get a coffee but before I could grab a cup they were done. I know if they put a plug in its not coming out. The shop is 100% the work is excellent top of the line. If they put there brand on it, it is the best mechanical work you can go with. Its serious business to them and they have the top awards to prove it. You cant call yourself 5 STAR without being astounding and thats what it is. A shop that knows professional work and trusted by the community. If you need it to last, this is the best around. Randy Chavez

The check engine light came on in my car, so I took it to 5 Star since I saw the many positive reviews. The cost for a diagnostic was a staggering $225. The price seemed quite steep, but I decided to move forward with it. I thought that since I had made an appointment, I would stick around for the diagnosis, but they told me to go home since the repair could take several hours. I took a Lyft back home, and they texted me 30 minutes later (45 minutes after my appointment time) saying my issue was a dirty gas cap. They cleaned it, and the check engine light is gone. In all, they did address the issue and I was given a small discount, but $195 and a Lyft from and to the shop was an expensive lesson to learn about cleaning my gas cap. I cant fault them too much since they are a business, but I would definitely take a look at other nearby shops where the prices may be more reasonable.

My daughter s car had an alignment done at 5 star. When I picked up the car the steering wheel was shaking which did not happen before the alignment.. I went back to 5 star and was told that I had to pay for the wheel balance.. I was not pleased with this shop. This auto shop should be named a 1 star instead

Super quality service at a very reasonable price. 5 Star installed my tires and fixed my alignment quickly, and they even reset the tire-pressure sensors properly the first time, which the other shops rarely do. Lately, the big-name tire stores dont want to install your tires if you bought them elsewhere, but 5 Star is happy to install the tires their the customer wants. Thanks, guys!

If you have a lifted anything with aftermarket parts, bring it to these guys. In the 15 years Ive owned my 4runner Ive brought it to 3 different alignment shops (Les Schwab, Wheel Works & Firestone) none of which could get alignment within spec or even close. They cost a bit more but got the job done. I will only be bringing my cars to them from now on

Got my car towed from my workplace to this shop due to car not starting. AAA jump started the car thrice but still not turning on. This shop is amazing. They figured out what went wrong and advised me of how much would the cost be before starting the job. They are very transparent and very skillful on fixing any cars. I m driving a Mercedes C300 and accdg to the dealership, they are the only place that can fix my car s problem. I guess they re wrong

On time appointments. Service was completed as scheduled. However, my last service was in fall of 2020 with a ride to my home in Foster City, this time they had no one Available to drop me off. Understandable with the Covid issues of past months. I would use them again.

Went in on Thursday night early bird drop off no appointment. Ned called me Friday with an update. Monday the car was finished by 4:20 pm. Honest repair, great communication and reasonable priced. I ve been using 5 star for over 29 years. 5 star gets 20 stars from me!!!!

If you want a premium auto repair experience these guys are it. They got my cars wheels put on super fast and they worked perfectly. They even took the time to clean up the wheel bead area to make sure the tires would seal correctly. It was so simple and uneventful (in a good way) getting my car worked on there. They have been in business in this area forever, so you know they have to be good.

Great service and friendly people. Had an alignment on a totally tube framed restomod Camaro that I had guessed the build alignment. They not only were they able to do it, they did it for under their estimate. This was taking it from 0 percent correct to a three axis alignment where everything is adjustable. They were recommended to me and now I d recommend them to anyone.

I have been to this location twice. The first time was a 60K mile check up and a fine experience. I went back for an oil change despite them being not the cheapest option I wanted to support local business. After dropping off my car I was told I was ok to leave,returned to work, and then I received a call that they didnt ask for my key and I needed to go back to the shop so they could move my car. Completely understandable and a mistake. However, with lyft charges as they do not provide a drop off, this was now an additional $45 charge I was incurring. So when I arrived again I asked if they would be able to drive me back to work now OR pick me up later as it was an 8 minute drive away to avoid more lyft charges. I was told no. Then I asked if they would be able to cover part of the cost of the lyfts as the additional charges were unexpected and it wasnt a cheap service to begin with. I was told no and it was kind of my fault that I didnt hand them my key. While I absolutely accept partial responsibility, I have never been to an auto service shop that DID NOT ASK FOR THE KEYS and then told me to leave. Previously when I went there they asked for my keys. A simple meeting in the middle and accepting some responsibility and covering either the cost of a lyft one way or providing me a ride would have sufficed and made this situation fine. However, the handling of it was not only rude but it was extremely poor customer service especially because their prices are not competitive nor cheap. EDIT: To be clear, I did not ask for a free oil change, I asked for a ride to get me to work or to cover the cost of a lyft one way and I was paying for the other incurred charges ($30-40). Found another local spot that was 20% cheaper and finished the oil change in 20 mins vs half a day.

From the start Fadi helped me over the phone and was extremely helpful and wanted to make sure my previous concerns of the car were valid before I brought it in to pay for their service so I didn t waste any money. As far as the pricing for the work I needed done? Extremely fair, out of the 10 other places I called, Fadi quoted me WAY better than anyone else has. I decided to go forward with the work and it was quick, and they made sure to inform me and even show me what was wrong with the car and educate me on the systems of it. I am always satisfied that the guys at 5 are honest, trustworthy, and do a great job. Last time I took my car in, thinking I needed a new battery or alternator, they ended up just needing to clean the connections to the battery for only $55.

I have an innate distrust of auto mechanics from my own ignorance around how cars work. That said, 5 Star Auto has always been super helpful, explain what s wrong in a way I can understand, and have never tried to upsell me unnecessarily. Their prices are better than normal prices (I called around different places after getting my quote to verify that) and the team is friendly to work with. It can get busy, but give them a call to make sure they re able to fit you in and you ll be happy you did. They re the shop I take my car to every time now.

My car is an old 94 model Lincoln and its hard to find parts for it. Five Star Auto service did a great job getting it to pass the smog test and I was very happy.

The guys at 5star are honest and so nice. I asked them one time about getting something worked on and they told me not to spend money I dont have to. No mechanic has ever told me that. They do it the right way and wont lead you down the wrong road just to get more money. I will always go back to them.

So glad I found this company! They were so professional, courteous, reasonably priced, and fast. So much better than taking my car to the dealer for service. I highly recommend them!

Left my wifes CX 9 for Tires. Made an appointment. Had the tires in stock. Quick and efficient service. Picked my car up. Got an engine light. They disgnosed it as a battery issue and replaced the battery. Was done with a quick turnaround.

I was impressed by their professionalism, communication, and efficiency. They did a great job on my tires at a reasonable rate, had the job done when they said they would and were very pleasant to work with. No upselling either which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend!

I came to this shop through the Costco program. Ned was very professional and polite. The shop is well lit, clean & nicely decorated. I had a follow up call with Fadi regarding an issue which is not relevant to the service. After speaking to him, I realized it is not connected to the shop or the personnel. Overall a job well done. I will consider for other services in the future.

There was a problem with coolant leakage in my Cadillac. 5 star was recommended and so we called them to arrange for them to inspect the vehicle and make the necessary repairs. They were quick, professional, and the price seemed reasonable. Id certainly use them again based on this experience.

Fadi has performed oil changes and alignments for me before, this time I got all 4 tires changed. He was able to fit me in with 1 days notice and he is very friendly and seems kind.
