i sent my 2016 silverado to get a transmission rebuild done. it’s been two months and they still haven’t even began the installation.

I went there for air conditioning work it was surprised they also do other repairs always with experienced mechanics at a reasonable price.

Came to Kool Air auto at 10 am 7/11/24. Was told 165 for ac diagnosis that's labor included. I told them I just needed a relay switch and I didn't know where it was location in my car. Waited for a few hours in the office then decided to go home till my car was finished. Call them every couple of hours to see if the work has been finished with no responses. My car has to stay overnight. I call in the morning with no response. I go in at 2:30 pm to see if I can find out whats going on. The receptionist is saying its his second day and that he is still learning and trying his best. They finally said they found the problem it was a relay switch. I knew that already and was the reason I came in. They sourced the part for me without asking me how much it would be. They then installed this relay without telling me how much labor it would cost. I waited till 5:30 before my car was pulled to the front by the mechanic Augie and he wrote me a receipt for 598.97. I said that's way higher then I expected to be paying. The mechanic then lied to my face and said it was very complicated to get to and he had to remove and reinstall my passenger airbag to get to it. He even said he could have charged me and extra hour of labor it was so complicated. I got my car home and checked to see how "complicated" it was after finding out the location. I was able to remove the relay and reinstall it in under a minute as someone with no mechanical training. I tried contacting the business on 7/15/24 10 am and spoke to the receptionist Will and asked to speak with the owner or have their contact info. He said the owner was there and I waited on hold to speak with him. He introduced himself as the owner his name was Tony and got his#. I explained this same situation to him and he said he would give me a refund and contact me later in the evening with info. I have waited 24 hours for a response from him and have bad feelings about this whole transaction. I want others to know that this place could be ripping them off beware.

Tony was great! They were very busy but he got to my car before noon and his price was more than fair. Can’t say enough about how professional and efficient they are.

I started without an ac. When they finally got to it 2 days later they said they could only do a partial repair for $1150. When they did the 1st repair I still had the same issues. When I returned to the shop the 2nd time they said "oh a hose fell off the we installed " so they fixed that and also told me that the air stopped blowing not because of the hose but my truck was overheating bad.... Which is not the case at all but whatever fix what needs to be fixed so another $500 dollars later...... Same issue, took it back for the 3rd time they can't find the issue but hey now have have another 100 miles on my truck 1/4 tank less and broken dual ac and heater switches!!!! Love it! Good job guys.

AC was blowing hot air, so I made an appointment and took my car to the dealership where I go to for all of my services. Was told that it would be close to two weeks before they could even diagnose my car. Worried that it is going to warm up this next week, I started looking around. Steve at Rosedale Automotive was very gracious to recommend this place to me as he wasn't able to service my car. I was amazed at the quick and professional service that I received, was able to pick my car up the same day. Will definitely return for future needs.

Highly recommend this Auto Air conditioner and Repair shop, they were able too do a diagnostic and recharge right away, very honest, they can actually make the metal tubing their, they are in business for long time and it shows with their experience and what they know about AC system.
