I got home safely with my children all thanks for this mechanic and his partner. Extremely grateful for his dedicated and honest work. If it weren’t for him, I would have been stranded hours and hundreds of miles away from home. Thank you!

Came here desperate for an oil change when I had over an hour drive ahead of me. I've never been to Avenal and there is nothing nearby for oil change so I took a chance on this place. I got right in with no waiting. I was in and out within 30 min. I was not overcharged. In fact the price was surprisingly affordable and the customer service was great. I even got tips on how to keep my Acura in tip top shape for as long as possible. I highly recommend this place to anybody passing through needing any type of auto repair or maitenance.

We received the best service we possibly could have gotten. Our car overheated while in the middle of the freeway, on our way to San Diego. We were stranded with 2 kids and found Tom’s Auto on google. He arranged for us to get a tow back to the shop and he personally came and picked us up 45 minutes away, since we all couldn’t fit in the tow truck. They were very quick to diagnose the problem and got it fixed fast to get us back on the road. He even called us after to make sure everything was going okay on the drive. I highly recommend Tom’s shop to anyone! Such a great experience!

Tom was able to get my car back on the road a day after it overheated. I first thought it was a minor coolant leak, but i wasn’t too sure so i took it to Tom. He was able to identify what the actual problem was and quickly made calls to find the right parts needed for repair. He also took his time explaining to me what the root of the problem was and how it is caused which i found to be very helpful. If you are looking for an honest and efficient mechanic, i recommend going to Tom

I called the shop with my AC failing and asked if they could charge it for me as I had 2 dogs and a cat in my vehicle and it was 87 degrees! They said they could fit me in in 45 minutes at 3:30 when their AC guy came back from what was I guess a late lunch. Based on that phone call I drove the 15 miles to their shop. There was a sign that said they would be back in 10 minutes. That was at 3. At 3:30 they returned and said “I have this persons car to fix first”. I never would have driven 15 miles off the freeway to go to the shop if they hadn’t said they could quickly fit me in to charge my AC. They might be great mechanics or they might be terrible mechanics. I would never know because their customer service sucks and they did not attempt to help me.

My husband and I were on the way back home with a 3 hour drive left when our tire exploded. We called all local 24/7 tire centers and Tom was the only one to pick up the call. We ended up getting towed to his shop, Tom was really kind and attentive even though it was 2am. We were able to make it back home with the used tire he installed. Great customer service, and thank you so much Tom for helping my husband and I get back home safely. God bless

Tom's is the best. I punctured my tire on a Sunday evening while on a road trip, and Tom came into the shop despite it being a day off to help me. He quickly diagnosed the issue and had it fixed within minutes. Easily could have price gauged given my dire straits, but instead he gave me a great price and a welcoming warmth. Wish I lived nearby -- he's the mechanic I'd always want working on my car! Thanks again Tom!!

Tom met me at 10pm when my van was towed in to his shop!!! Not only that, but his service was incredible. He explained each step to be taken, ran a diagnostic and showed me the evidence of the problem. My radiator had to be replaced. I trust Tom and his apprentice completely. My husband was greatly relieved when I was safely on the road, again. Much thanks to Tom. 100% confidence in him! God bless.
