We were just passing thru after a 600 mile trip and the check engine light came on. The mechanic plugged in the diagnostic computer and quickly diagnosed the fuel problem. Re-set the code and we were on our way. Very nice folks to see us so quickly. 5 plus stars for service with a smile!
Arnold automotive has always helped me out. I am a do it yourself type guy but Tom has always offered me advice and opened his doors on short notices when I needed his expertise. My XTerra was running rough and a check engine light was on. Tom managed to work me into his schudule with little advance notice and checked the engine diagnostics. Based on this information he proposed changing out the spark plugs, plug wires, fuel filter and other tune up parts. When completed, the engine ran perfectly. Based on my experience, I regard this shop as highly competent, trustworthy and accommodating. I can recommend Arnold Automotive enthusiastically and without reservations.
Tom Weaver and his assistant(s) are excelent mechanics who stand by their work, are forthright, and honest. He has been timely in delivering as promised. He has done four major repairs on my car with the most recent involving an engine R&R that was difficult and complicated. He has saved me future expenses and allowed me to keep an older car that I really cherish. He is an asset to our neighborhood and community. Thanks again Tom.

Wouldnt even look at my vehicle. He didnt like the sound and told me to leave. I was coming back from Murphys when my car all of a sudden made this loud sound, I came to him for help (with my kids in the car with me) and he told me to leave without even checking to see of it was safe to do so, turns out....IT WASNT, barely made it home before it completely just died. THANKS FOR NOTHING!!

While staying in Arnold, one day our vehicle wouldnt start in Murphys. We got a jump from AAA and limped back to Arnold. On the way I called Arnold Automotive to see if we could drop it off since it was near to closing time. He said he would wait for us and greeted us like old customers, said he would look at it that evening, and get back to us in the morning. At 9:30 the next morning we received a call saying our truck was ready despite the lateness of the hour, no appointment and a full shop.
Tom has done work on my cars for years. He is a truly honest mechanic that wont steer you wrong. He is fair and trustworthy along with being very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him as a mechanic.
