Called up to JR Tires to get a quote while getting my oil changed. Rainy day and the the tech said I desperately needed new tires and shouldn't be driving in the rain on them. I wanted to shop out tire prices before committing. JR answered the phone himself, gave me a price about half of what Big O Tires & Costco gave me. I drove up there shortly after and he remembered exactly who I was from our phone call. Anaheim is a big city so it's always nice to have a friendly hometown place you can go to where people remember you. JR & his staff and really friendly and honest, which is a rarity now too. The whole process took less than 2 hours. From phone call to tire installation. My roommate gave me a ride and she is now getting work done on her truck. JR is a really nice guy and I look forward to doing business with him in the future!
Updated Review: JR’s gets 5 Stars for being open, honest, and genuinely owning up to mistakes. When I got my wheels and tires installed, the technician improperly re-installed my wheel speed sensors, which led to damage to the sensors and needing to wait a week at a dealership for parts and repairs. After posting my previous review outlining the ordeal, JR’s reached out to me and apologized for the hassle that was caused, that they had spoken to the technician and would ensure this particular area would not be overlooked moving forward. I spoke with Wendy, and she was very kind and sincere. JR’s offered to reimburse me the amount I had to pay out of pocket for my repairs, and I am very grateful and appreciative that they did this for me. It definitely elevated my impression of the company, and in the end, despite the mistakes, I am happy with how my vehicle looks and I have received many compliments since getting it back from the dealer. Lala was awesome to work with throughout the process, and like mentioned above, Wendy was also great. I would recommend this shop, as what was wrong was made right and I can appreciate a shop that stands by their work, admits mistakes, and communicates actionable steps to their customers. I personally know that not many other auto shops would be quite as honest about something like this.
JR Wheel and Tire has a reputation for recommending unnecessary repairs. I went in for a simple $90 alignment, but they insisted I needed additional repairs totaling $1,500. They refused to perform the alignment unless I agreed to the repairs. Additionally, they tried to charge me $20 for an inspection after initially saying it would be free. Their inconsistency and upselling tactics made for a frustrating experience
I will never go to JR Auto Repair again. This place is a complete scam. I originally came in for a simple alignment because my car felt wobbly. They quoted me $90, which seemed reasonable. When I got there, they claimed I needed to replace my strut for $650. After thinking it over, I returned a few days later ready to proceed, but suddenly they quoted me $1,500 for a "new problem." I left and went to Pro Auto Care Complete Repair in Westminster instead. They aligned my car for $40 and even did a free inspection. Turns out, the problem was just loose screws—no expensive repairs were needed. My car drives perfectly now. Avoid JR Auto Repair at all costs!
This place is horrible, don’t waste your time. They overprice everything! I came a few weeks back to replace my brake pads and rotors and they charged me $110 (what I expected). I came back to get it done again because they didn’t install it correctly, called JR and he said “you get what you pay for”. During the call he said he would charge me $650 for to get them replaced again (the same repair). It makes no sense they change their prices whenever they feel like they can, they take advantage of people who don’t know anything about cars and it’s obvious. JR is one of the most two faced people I’ve ever spoken to, don’t waste your money or your time.
I called this business looking for a place to have my flat tire patched. JR answered phone and though they would be closing shop in an hour. He had me come over and his staff was friendly and patched within less than 30 minutes. JR was very personable and made it very easy to get the service needed. The experience assured me I can trust there work ethics and I'm excited to have had this shop take care of my truck. For tires . Wheels. Alignment. I'm definitely coming here and highly recommend the shop to all.
I took my lifted truck in for an alignment, After having to go back and forth 3 times, they decided upon their own to put a caster kit in and charge me $200! But that’s not the issue-on my way to pick up my truck, I was told that the metal on the truck needed to be cut which I plainly told JR not to cut my trucK body and that would be considered frame/structural damage. I picked up the truck and drove off as they were closing. The truck was now rubbing the tires worse than before due to the caster kit being installed and once I got home i noticed that my truck had been butchered!!! The metal had been cut!!! The next day I called back to be told JR was out until Tuesday. I demanded he call me back as I had issues. He finally returned my call to say they did not cut my truck and that he would watch videos and ask employees. Like someone is going to admit what they did!! Now I have a truck that if I choose to sell it and do not disclose damages, I would have to buy back the truck as it will be listed as structural damage. The value of my truck is now valued at $5000 less due to this establishment doing something underhanded and without my permission!!! Do not take your nice vehicles here as they will trash them and cost you time and money needless to say do something that is inappropriate and without permission!!
Been on the hunt for these specific tires so I could keep the rims that the SUV came with, and after a few dead ends I was recommended to JRs. Can I explain how happy I was when I came to the shop. They knew right away what I wanted and would look best. Extremely professional and amazing job they did! Also very quickly too and the tires are off the chain! I Can explain how happy I was when the job was done and the car was pulling up to me with these new shoes. Amazing. Thank you guys will be back with more projects for my other cars!

If I could give them 0 stars, they would be a company that only cares about money and not about their customers, they scammed me, they blessed me with airbags that in the end had to be removed, they charged me for putting them in and removing them, that was not the problem. The problem is that some air bags that they blessed me with for $1500 were never delivered to me even though I paid for them.
I had new tires put on my car this morning. Later in the day, my car was shaking when I would drive over 40. The place was closed but I found JR Wheels. They took my car right away and found the problem. I am so grateful for this place. Thank you for your kindness.

We couldnt be any happier with this experience. Jr went above his expectations to show us in depth what our vehicle would look like with different wheels and tires. He made our vision as realistic as possible. It made the decision come to life. He educated us on everything that would change. From a lift, gas, travel sound, and drive, speedometer calibration, and look. It wasnt just I wanted wheels and tires, it was the pros and cons. Highly recommended! Realistic prices and a human being with a huge heart. You can never place a fee on customer service. Best and first impression was remarkable

Came here to purchase some new wheels for my tahoe, and Im glad didnt go elsewhere to make my purchase. Lala, at the front desk was very informative and communicative. She had answers for all my questions, I went back the next day and had my wheels installed in less than 2 hours and they even painted the calipers, rotors and everything else that was visible through the rims black. Thanks JR Family! I also purchased a lowering kit for the rear which I installed without any issues. I will purchase more wheels from them in the future.

Too much very bad service, not recommended and unprofessional. They do not respect your guarantees for the bad work they do for you. They give you service for a month and two months later you return with problems and they ignore you. Dont go!!! They are great brands!!!
Brought my aftermarket rims and tires here for an installation. Was worried for damaging of the rims but the workers here did an excellent job. Customer service was top notch and did my installation the same day I called. Pricing was standard but gave the installer a tip for being detailed and dedicated with his work. Will definitely be returning for any future inquiries.
I went to change new tires on my SUV and the guy that change my tires looks like he s 16 years old. He didn t give me my tool back to remove the locks from my wheels. I went back and they didn t even look for it they just said we don t have that. I also heard a noise on a tire that wasn t there before so I told some guy jr and he said well we have to cut the locks but you have to wait 30 minutes to an hour. So just left and check the tire my self from the inside and this is what I found. It was between the rotor and a metal plate. Unreal never going back to the place.
I went to JRs less than an hour before they closed and immediately was greeted by a nice gentleman and he had a technician on to checking my tire that had low pressure light on. The technician was equally nice professional and efficient. Luckily my tire issue was not major and the young man had my tire fixed and put back on in 5 minutes. I went to pay and the price was so low but honest. These days, in this industry where can you get great service, amazing prices, quality and integrity all at the same spot. You can get it at JRs Wheels & Tires. Very impressive. Thank you guys. You got a customer for life.

This is my second time i come my first tacoma the lift was great and never had any problem jr is very helpful. Hell get what you need. My 3rd Gen tacoma I showed jr what i wanted and he did it. Jr and his team are very good. Recommend this place its always pack so i suggest you get there super early so youll be the first one. Like I did.

Arrived with run flat tires and asked to replace one flat one. Went home and didn t realize they replaced all my tires with regular tires. This place stole from me and I didn t realize this at the moment. I don t wish this experience on anyone. Karma will get them though.
I had good experience patching a flat tire. I was charged $25. Which is not much, but 25% more than another reviewer here...It is possible that price went up in a year, but more likely he just overcharged me thinking that $5 would not matter to me. Whether it matters or it doesnt is irrelivant, but it shows unfair and predatory business practice.

Hands down the best place Ive gone to with getting tires!! My tire popped on the 5 freeway going to San Clemente. So I had to think quickly since I didnt want to use my spare for long. Most tire shops are closed on a Sunday so finding an open tire shop was a bit hard especially not having more than $60 for a tire ready on hand. They were able to give me a good deal on a tire with my emergency and did it very quickly too!! So thank you Jrs Wheels and Tires you helped me immensely!

TL;DR Sketchy recommendations, cheated us $80 for alignment We were on our way home to Sacramento when we noticed our tire had a large piece of rubber missing. I like to support small shops if possible. Over the phone they offered us Kumho tires but when we went in, they offered us Pirelli tires instead (probably due to sponsorship or something, everyone was wearing Pirelli shirts) and charged us as much as Kumho tires. For all I know, they could have been cheaper and taking advantage that we were desperate. We also decided to get alignment done too because we were going to put 400 miles immediately on the tires. We waited 2 hours for the whole work to be done. We paid but was only given a copy of the receipt in poor handwriting. I know men with sloppy handwriting thats more legible. I bet they wrote like this intentionally for the illegibility. We werent provided a copy of the alignment and they gave us excuses they had a replacement worker and theyll go give us a printout. Well, 30 minutes later (presumably they finally did the alignment) they handed us the printout, didnt even walk us out, and just watched us drive off. While driving, the steering feels very off but we didnt want to go back to them because of the poor work they provided. You can read in the photo, our numbers are waaaaay off from the min and max. I may not know a lot about vehicles but I can do math and those numbers do not land in between the min and max numbers. They may have taken money from us today but hopefully people do read this before they go in. Theyre not looking out for you, you gotta look out for yourself.
I use to get my tires from here. But after they broke my air sensor and over filled my tire pressure and over tightened my lug nuts I m going somewhere else. I used to be a Luxury wheel and tire tech and for them to blame me and try to charge me extra. No thank you
I cant believe the owner. Good customer I am and have been coming here for everything religiously. Then when they damaged my rims I asked him if he can fix what was damaged at his tire shop. Great communicator Junior is and comes off as a genuine person out for youre best interests. This really changed my perception because the the owner comes off like hes Christian and here for you and giving you a deal then when they damaged my rimshe switched to a different person and character. Immediately you could see the shift then I realized this dude is non professional and non personal with a shysty mentality. For a person that portray himself as a standup person actually has contradicted every thing his mouth said before. Hes a scam

Driving to Anaheim from Idaho and picked up a screw around the CA/NV state line. Swapped out my spare, dropped my family at Disneyland, and headed to JR s based on proximity and Google reviews. The shop was crazy busy (impossible to know where to park) but the team got me in right away and completed my fix in 20 minutes for $25. Super friendly and fast. I took my 2018 Jeep Wrangler to get lifted last year. I had to take my Jeep back 3 times because my right shock was making a squeaking noise. Jr said he would personally fix it til this day it still makes the noise. My personal experience the trip isn t worth it not even the money.
I had to get 2 patches and tire rotation. Jr was awesome service was prompt and honest. I might get my lowering springs, wheels, exhaust done here sometime.
Great experience! Needed a tire to get us back to Texas on Fathers Day. Luckily we found JR s. After several places (including Wal-Mart) did not have the tire size we needed, JR had the tire and got us back on the road with almost no wait time. Everyone was super friendly and professional. Excellent customer service and care.
Helpful lots to consider
I was originally referred to JRs by my cousin and I have to say it was a great choice to come here. I honestly didnt even recognize my truck when I originally came to pick it up. I passed right by it and didnt think it was mine. They installed a 3.5 rough country lift kit, wheels and tires and side bars. Couldnt be any happier with the price and quality. Plus JR did a great job always following up with me with the status of my order.

Dude, let me just say that this place is 100% always busy for a reason. I was recommended to this shop by a friend when I told him I want new wheels (Rims) and boy was it a great rec. Both front counter girls were friendly and very knowledgeable in their field. Jr. Has great deals going on and can take care of most of your car needs. As I was checking out, LaLa had mentioned that she overheard me telling my mom (3 days prior) that I wanted to find a place to paint my calipers and told me they could do that for me and at a waaaayyyyy better price than I was quoted by other shops. All in all I am very happy with my decision, their work and service and for the millions of questions they answered for me . Dont hesitate if you want to upgrade your ride.

Showed up to get a new tire. Not one member of the staff was wearing a mask or social distancing. Customers not required to wear masks. They took my car and gave me 0 info about what type of tire they were putting on it or the cost. When they finally came back to talk to me, was told they needed my car keys. Still no mention of the tire or cost. I have had excellent service in the past when the owner was the one helping customers.

If your not happy with something he doesn t want you to leave or pay for anything until you are very satisfied with the end product. I have been to a lot of tire shops in Orange County, but this one stands apart from the rest. The owner, JR, is quite jovial and eager to provide top-notch customer service. His employees work hard and are honest about their work. I brought my own tires and they were still happy to mount, balance, and perform an alignment at a very fair price. No one tried to up-sell me on anything I didn t need and my car was finished quicker than they estimated. It looks like I have found a new tire shop.

This place is amazinggg!!! We desperately needed tires for our car. I called and Wendy answered. She saved the day by letting us know the tires we needed were in stock, affordable, and could be put on the car right away. We came in and JR greeted us. His warmth and cheery personality put me at ease. He estimated tires would be put on in 45 mins - 1hr. He had us out in 25 minutes!! BEST experience Ive ever had at a tire shop. I had no appointment, nor did I make a phone call that I was coming. I arrived an hour before they closed and they still quickly diagnosed the problem with my tire (nail in the side) so I could make a decision on my next step. They came very highly recommended so I was not surprised.

Terrible... attention I went for some shock absorbers They looked at me and didnt pay any attention to me and I was waiting for about 20 minutes and they didnt serve me at all. In the end, I better left. They have no ethics when it comes to serving customers.

So I bought 5 tires and wheels ...price was ok ..included free alignment..everything was ok until we got to the point where alignment needed to be done ...the technician just got my vehicle on the alignment rack and pretend that he done it ...I used to do alignments and suspension for years ...he didn t do anything and when I asked him what he adjusted he said that just the steering wheels was a little crooked ...(still crooked) didn t want to argue ...there goes integrity for this place

Very bad experience, I arrived to replace my 4 tires and waited more than two hours for them to do it, they told me that they would do a free alignment and the only thing I got was wasted time, money poorly invested because they didnt align anything for me and the tires they put on were of very poor quality...they were supposed to be new

They didnt deserve even a star, a terrible place, they just stole my money from my face, they changed the suspension, tires and wheels and my car is still not good and I took it for the second time and it wasnt all a disappointment. I dont really recommend it, its a scam.
Was shopping around at many rim shops all over Orange County and they did not have the specific wheels that I wanted. J R on the other hand went the extra mile to obtain the 26 inch wheels that I wanted for my truck and gave me a great price. Great customer service and very professional atmosphere. Very satisfied customer!
Excellent service as usual
Just drove in from out of state when I noticed my tire light had come on at the hotel. Was glad to find Jrs open right down the street after 6pm on a Saturday night. It was a great experience, they had me out in less than 20 minutes. Cant thank them enough!
